Mr. Row moved here last year all the way from Tennessee. This is his first year at GBMS, but second year teaching. So far he loves teaching here and says that Gulf Breeze has great students. Before teaching at GBMS, he taught at Northwood Elementary School, in Crestview, Florida.

Before Teaching, Mr. Row was a musician, and in high school, he was a semi-professional skateboarder. Sadly, he fell off of a rail and hurt his back. He started teaching because, “He really wanted to help kids at the middle school age.” Also, he knows that middle school is a hard time for kids because he struggled in middle school too. He went to college to teach middle school math and science. Mr. Row teaches 6th grade science, history, and math. He has also taught ELA. However, history is his favorite subject to teach, “It’s fun and really engaging.” It requires a lot of communication and it’s new for him.

Bella Snow, 6th grade, who is in Mr. Row’s class twice a day for math and science, also stated, “Mr. Row is really nice; he makes all the classes fun.”
