Recently, GBMS students had two opportunities to have their art displayed in local art shows. One of these shows was the All County Youth Art Exhibition 2018 at the River Walk Arts Festival in Milton. These students included Alex PeavySophia Kersten, Samantha Gilbert, Blake Sutton, Laney Farmer, Keeley Williams, McKell Spring, Lindsey Moore, Riley Coates, Abbigale Maxwell, Ayla Register, Aliciana Kelley, Lily Green, Amy MacKinnon, Skylar Farej, Sarah Marks, Katrina Le,  Jordan McMullen and Malia Ludwick.

The other arts festival that took place the following weekend was Gulf Breeze Celebrates the Arts at the GBHS, where thirty five GBMS students showed off their work. These students included Isabelle Gatmaitan, Amie Birk, Lauren Saiter, Riley Coates, Daniel Rarrick, Ireland Butler, McKell Sprieng, Laken Harvey, Alex Peavy, Isabelle Flores, Kayla McKinsey, Amy MacKinnon, Abbigale Maxwell, Laney Farmer, Paige Hanna, Eliot Suttman, Sarah Marks, Lindsey Moore, Amelia Atchison, Baylen Crance, Keeley Williams, Tomas Baltz, Aliciana Kelley, Conrad Monzelun, Dixie Farish, Ayla Register, Jordan McMullen, Kayla Dantzler, Malia Ludwick, Kelsey Bailes, Katrina Le, Ella Ngo, Holland Davidson, Avae Dantino, and Valeria Hanson. Of these students, Alex Peavy won first place, Kelsey Bailes took second, Lauren Saiter obtained third, and Thomas Baltz  received a honorable mention for his design of the Google logo.
