Have you ever wanted a different option to eat at lunch? Well today might be your lucky day. Every Tuesday, the lunch room is offering Display Cooking. Students can see and smell what is being cooked, and get a different choice for school lunch. Brandy Warr, cafeteria manager, is the person who came up with this brilliant idea: “The idea was created to help get more students to eat lunch at the school.” She also said, “Mr. Wade is the chef you see out in the cafeteria and he thought it would encourage the students to participate.”

Since the cooking started, more and more students are participating and eating lunch at school. Another good thing about the display cooking is that it’s not only the same price as the regular lunch but is also as heathy. It just gives another option for lunch. This Display Cooking offers students a more of a variety for their afternoon meal, is heathy, and is the same price as a regular lunch, so on Tuesday head over to the cafeteria and grab yourself some food from the Display Cooking station.
