On April 6, students from Gulf Breeze Middle School’s ESE department participated in the annual Sports Ability Games hosted by the high school. There they competed with other ESE students from around the area. After all the races and all the fun, they chilled out with friends and ate pizza.

ESE students from around Santa Rosa county attended. Chance Wade, 8th grade, ran a few races and said, “My favorite was the sack race.”  This event was something almost all the kids got to do. Even though Chance won some of his races, he said, “It was more important to have fun and hang out with my friends.”

This event happens every year and means a lot to all the ESE students. The student assistants go as well and cheer on their friends. Volunteers and teacher organize the event for the students to have fun. Also, the students will get to look back on this event and think of all the fun they had.
