There’s no place better to have a jeep than Florida, and no place better to drive it than on the beach. That is exactly what happened the week of May 16-20 in Panama City. 1,232 jeeps gathered for 5 days of beach fun including a drive in movie, obstacle course, and a mile and a half drive on the beach.

This is the 3rd year for Jeep Beach Jam and the largest turnout so far. In fact, this year the World Record for most topless jeeps in one place was broken. Everyone got commemorative stickers for their jeep and were able to drive on the beach and through Pier Park in a jeep parade.

Coming from someone who constantly rides in a jeep, I highly recommend putting a jeep on your wish list. We actually have many students in GBMS with jeeps, and our weekends are usually spent on trails or riding around with our families with no doors or tops on the jeep. That’s the classic way to ride in a jeep!

If you are a student with a jeep and your parents haven’t heard of Jeep Beach Jam, you should definitely get them to sign up for next year! It’s a blast!
